Housed inside an elegant mahogany and beveled glass showcase that resembles an oversized grandfather clock case, stands Father Time. Father Time is a life size wood statue of a mature man that is meticulously and realistically carved out of African mahogany that stands 68'' tall. Father Time is a clock. His moustache is the hands of the clock, his eyes move back-n-forth in sequence to his swaying tie, his pendulum, when the chimes strike on the hour, his mouth open's and close's in unison per the strikes of the hammers. Father Time is more than an anthropomorphized depiction of time. His meanings are as numerous as the word time itself , it would take a long ''time'' to defy them all. His face is morphed from all the human races, his body is a reminder how time is a devourer of all material things, the ticking of his gears is life's eternal rhythm, his body conceived in the soil of his close relative, Mother Earth, time controls the past, present, and future , etc. etc.
