Interwoven

"Interwoven" began with four sustainably forested wood species from Upper Michigan, birdseye maple, flame birch, walnut and cherry. Then they were all cut and laminated into each other over 150 times using standard woodworking machines: bandsaw, router, planer and sander. No computers or lasers were used to assist in the creation. There are no stains or dyes, which allows the natural colors of the woods to show. It is finished with a clear lacquer.
