Good As Gold

The water that is in the Great Lakes is good as gold. 1 percent of the water on this earth is drinkable and only 0.3 percent of that is in lakes and rivers. Great lakes has one fifth of all surface fresh water. Michigan has 3,288 miles of coast line, we have a front row seat to largest body of fresh water on earth. This photo was taken at sunset when the waves were crashing on the sandy shores of P.J Hoffmaster State Park in Muskegon. I was trying to capture the perfect moment before that moment passed. The water glistened in the sun with its pure clean beauty. Just before the sun disappeared under the horizon I captured this photo. This photo represents life from the depths of our great lakes to the altitude of the clouds. Every time I look at this photo I feel proud to live in Michigan.
