Cityview From the Bridge

Cityview From the Bridge is a photograph of Lower Manhattan taken from the pedestrian pathway of the Brooklyn Bridge. The bridge has always been one of my favorite feats of engineering, and walking across it has long been something I've wanted to do. Artistically this piece is about the different layers of the built infrastructure, how they are composed in the image, and how the layers interact with each other to produce transparency and depth. Symbolically this image represents seeing the city and experiencing the city as an adult as opposed to when I first visited as a kid.
