My Trip to China

A friend and I went on a vacation to China in 2005. We started at Beijing and finished our amazing three week adventure in Shanghai. A few of the places we visited were the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square, and the Terra Cotta Building where an army of soldiers had been buried to protect the Emperor, Qin Shi Huang. We went to a theater in Wuhan and heard the Chinese play flutes and bells and watched some Chinese dancers. When in Shanghai we went to the beautiful Yu Yuan Gardens where we saw many pagodas adorned with dragons. These three paintings were derived from photographs that I took at the gardens and theater. The doorway to the pagoda is called a Moon Gate.
