A major immersive painted mural that tells the history of street art as an artistic medium from the Egyptian hieroglyphs to Pre-Columbian codices to 1980s tags to Post-Graffism. This narrative will be told using veiltail goldfish as they swim over a background of the graphic exploration mentioned above. The existing lights in the tunnel, as well as the moving headlights of automobiles as they pass through it, will work in concert to achieve dramatic effect. Together with artist Ruben Ubiera's otherworldly painting technique they will create the illusion of fish swimming between the columns of the tunnel through the interplay of shadow and light. Ubiera will use metallic paint to capture the reflection of the light, movement, and mood of the location.
