From the Runway to the Roadway

This work was created to show how the P38 lighting influenced car design from the late 1940's even until today. Because during WWII car factories were making planes and tanks and jeeps instead of automobiles but after the war the car took the design elements from the planes for example there lines and shapes. Plus I wanted to give the forgot cars a way to become new and cherished once again. So I painted a tryptic on a 1956 Nash Rambler hood and two 2' x 3' canvas's to connect the car and the plane
