The Persian Pickles

We use fonts everyday and it never crosses our mind that these shapes were once sketched out like the masterful paintings of the Renaissance age. "The Persian Pickles" takes a pattern that has been in use since before the birth of Christ and shows how a simple letter can lead the eye in a seductive dance around the composition. "The Persian Pickles" is a custom illustrated typeface that utilizes the historic paisley pattern to create movement. Without using hard lines that would force these organic shapes to stand still, these forms are free to move in a beautiful dance that create individual letters.
