Safe Journey Little Bear

"Little Bear Little Bear off you will go, finding your way like an arrow from a bow. The race will begin and choices are made connected like rings in the water you've played. Find the hat that will fit and the ship that will sail, and don't forget to remember that the dog wags it's tail." Safe Journey Little Bear is a prayer for all young adults on the edge of life. Growing up is hard, especially the ages between 18-21. This group needs a special prayer set on the wind to make sure they are safe from danger. The bow is for protection, the bear is for comfort, the decorated tree is for family, the cliff is for the unknown, and the dog is for true friendship. There is a saying about the dog wagging it's tail or the tail wagging the dog, this image helps me to remember the importance of staying true to yourself. As the windmills stand for renewable energy, they also stand for hope renewed and a promise that things will get better. The rings in the water remind me that every choice we make is connected to the next. Safe Journey Little Bear, this is my prayer.
