Rialto Beach Compositions

Once again my subject during ArtPrize is old/aging materials, but this time it is wood. Trees – huge trees – that have fallen into the Pacific Ocean, and have encountered storms, rocks, and the pounding of waves. They were eventually hurled onto an Olympic Peninsula beach in the state of Washington. Their natural beauty has somehow been retained, and even enhanced by their encounters with adversity. I find that the effects of time and weather are both intriguing and visually satisfying. If you have any questions about my photography, or would like to make a purchase, feel free to call me, or send an email.
