"Escape"

When walking the streets of Boston two iconic images visually overlapped, a rose window of a church juxtaposed against a fire escape of an apartment building. While inspired by these two images, I intuitively turn to the landscape. "Escape" evolved through meditation and the utopia of patterns and rhythms found in landscape where I explore both internal and ethereal beauty. I untraditionally combine the printmaking processes of woodcut and intaglio presenting “Escape” in a triptych format.
