"The Illumination of Adam" is a triptych dealing with the Biblical creation of Adam. There are various layers of meaning available for the viewers to enjoy. The portrait of Adam and of God, with their hands floating between them, is the basic image portrayed. Their backgrounds will represent different viewpoints of societal beliefs. Behind God are going to be his "Words." Behind Adam will be images of man's creation. Behind the hands are the evils man has wrought on this planet in the name of beliefs. The pieces will be enclosed in a resin making them very rigid. On top of the resin, three different works of art will be applied using a stenciling technique, and a semi clear spray paint. Flash photos must be taken by viewers to show the stencils.
