Before and After Its In There

My comment on irrespondible spending and the problems it causes - I used these two images, shot at night, to give a bit of an oppressive tone. The jewelry store, with the "happier" colors, contains the dreams and contrasts a little with the pawn shop, where the dreams go to be traded in for the needed cash. There is also a contrast in the very neat and orderly jewelry display and the disorderly, tumultuous pawn shop. I am very influenced by Pop Art so the composition and look of the photos (especially my use of color) reflects that as well.
