Hope Butterfly

"Hope Butterfly" When I began to think about what I wanted to do for an entry I focused on a little butterfly. It's humble beginnings, wrapping itself up in a secluded world only to emerge a beautiful specimen, spreading it's wings and taking flight. So many people get stuck in the cocoon and forget to break free, spread their wings and fly. This piece is to show that there is hope. Hope in numbers, that those that will, can spread their wings and fly. They are awesome by themselves, gaining strength but as they begin to soar they find others, and together merge to create a beautiful rainbow of thoughts, feelings and ideas. I hope this brings the viewer as much joy as it did for me to create it.
